Texas: a "country" to invest in?

READER TRIP TO DALLAS

22 - 26 October 2025

The world's 8th largest economy

Getting to know the economic juggernaut that will soon launch "Wall Street South".

Many still think of the "Lone Star State" as a place best suited for cowboys and oil executives. But the reality today is quite different, and more likely to involve bankers, tech entrepreneurs, and media stars.

J.P. Morgan now employs more people in Texas than in New York, Goldman Sachs is building a major new campus in Dallas, and the newly formed Texas Stock Exchange is gearing up to become a serious competitor to the New York Stock Exchange.

How is all this relevant for private investors, and what is there to invest in?

Undervalued-Shares.com readers went to find out. Over five days in Dallas, they met with local entrepreneurs and investors – and enjoyed a few extracurricular activities along the way.
